(1) AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDENCE (ADA): Total days of student attendance divided by the total days of instruction. This figure, accounting for student absences and other factors, differs from total enrollment.
(2) CERTIFIED STAFF: Those certified to be teachers, school administrators, librarians, counselors or school psychologists.
(3) COHORT GRADUATION RATE: Number of students who graduate from high school in four years with a regular high school diploma, divided by the number of students who form the adjusted cohort for the graduating class. In cases where these cohorts exist in elementary school districts, this is due to adult education or charter schools for secondary-level students.
