According the 2010 Census, 1,719 residents of Los Angeles County were age 100 and over. Of that number, 80 percent were female. Ten years earlier, the 2000 Census counted 1,529 Los Angeles County residents in this age group, with 79 percent being female.
We await release of any counts or estimates from the 2020 Census.
