If your shipment is visibly damaged at the time it is delivered, refuse it immediately and note the damage to the delivery driver. Then email us at maps@LAAlmanac.com. We will need at least your name and delivery address and a description of what happened.
If you do not find damage to your merchandise until after opening your shipment, please email us immediately at maps@LAAlmanac.com as noted in the paragraph above to report the damaged delivery. We will respond as soon as possible, seeking information needed in order to file a claim with the delivery service and ensure that you you receive another shipment of the product ordered as soon as possible.
Once you report the damage to us, please hold onto the damaged merchandise until we determine if it must be returned in order to follow through with a claim to the shipper. We will send you instructions if it is necessary to do so. You will not be liable for any costs associated with handling a claim and you will promptly be sent a replacement. Please do not return damaged merchandise without being instructed to do so. It may not be necessary to do so and, by doing so without instructions to return the damaged merchandise, you may not be entitled to reimbursement of the shipping cost. In any case, where we quickly determine how the shipper wishes to respond, we will send you a replacement map at no additional cost.
If you are not satisfied with the maps you received...
Although we are excited about our maps, we understand that an online purchase may not turn out to be what you expected. If you are simply not satisfied with the map you receive, you may return it to us for a refund, minus the initial cost of shipping. If the map is returned more than 30 days after delivery or it is not returned in 100% re-sellable condition (such as folded, marked, torn, etc.), or returned to us damaged due to improper return packaging, we may charge a re-stocking fee at our discretion.
Before returning the map, e-mail us (maps@LAAlmanac.com) or snail-mail us (to: Given Place Media, Returns, P.O. Box 165, Montebello, CA 90640) and await our instructions regarding this procedure. If the map is returned to us prior to being able to send you our instructions, we may not be able to offer any refund even if the product is returned.
We cannot refund return postage and cannot accept CODs.
