The Glendale News-Press, founded in 1905, published their last edition in 2020. The newspaper was owned by the Los Angeles Times.


In 1927, William Forbes, later publisher of the national business magazine Forbes, served as Editor-in-Chief of UCLA's Daily Bruin.
