Los Angeles County Sports Libraries & Museums

The Paul Ziffen Sports Center Library of the Amateur Athletic Foundation of L.A. is the largest sports library in the nation. The library was named after the former chairman of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee.

The Carleton F. Burke Memorial Library of the California Horse Racing Hall of Fame at the headquarters of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association in Arcadia contains a large collection of volumes on horses and horse-racing.
