NBA Home Courts in Los Angeles

Both the Lakers and Clippers (along with the NHL Los Angeles Kings and the new Arena Football League team Avengers) now call Staples Center (opened 1999) home.  Staples Center seats 18,997 spectators for Lakers basketball, 18,964 for Clippers basketball, 18,188 for the Los Angeles Kings, 18,500 for the Los Angeles Avengers and 20,000 for concerts and boxing. The new Stars play at the same venue their 1960s predecessor team played--The Forum (now owned by a Los Angeles area church). The Forum seats 17,505 for basketball.
