The Long Beach Little League team won two consecutive Little League World Series in 1992 and 1993.  Six players played in both World Series: Jeff Burroughs, Sean Burroughs, Alex DeFazio, Larry Lewis, Chris Miller, and Kevin Miller.

The Long Beach Little League team in the 1992 and 1993 World Series was the only U.S. team to ever win more than one world championship.  It is also one of only three teams (with Industrial-Monterrey, Mexico, 1957/1958 and Seoul, Korea, 1984/1985) to win consecutive championships.
