There are 37 Hindu centers and an estimated Hindu 70,000 adherents in Los Angeles County.

One of the more spectacular Hindu religious sites in Los Angeles County is the Hindu Sanctuary at 1600 Las Virgenes Canyon Road in Calabasas. The temple complex was built by the Hindu Temple Society of Southern California and represents 10,000 local Indian immigrants.
