public figures in Los Angeles County were the General Manager,
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (annual salary of
$329,800), the chief executive of the
Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority ($302,375),
and the Los Angeles Police Chief
($300,442). That same year, the Superintendent of Los Angeles
Unified School District earned
$300,000, the Mayor of Los Angeles earned $223,141, the
Sheriff of Los Angeles County earned
$259,587, and the Los Angeles City Librarian earned $200,573.
