Daisy Avenue "Christmas Tree Lane"

Celebrating Daisy Avenues 23 lighted and decorated Christmas trees. Musical

Downtown on Ice, Winter
Wonderland Outdoor Skating Rink

Pershing Square)
Mid Nov. - January.
This outdoor ice skating program is located at
Pershing Square, with holiday-themed concerts and refreshments. A 50
by 90-foot rink is set up for use during the holiday season, making it
possible for people who work downtown, as well as those who just come
to visit, to enjoy a traditional wintery recreational activity.

Griffith Park Light Festival -- Griffith Park
(Crystal Springs Road), Los Angeles
Every year during the holiday season Crystal Springs
Road in Griffith Park sparkles at night during this festival. It
features a full mile of spectacularly lighted displays which can be
enjoyed from your car or during a casual walk. The Light Festival
includes a drive through a tunnel of lights, lighted representations
of downtown Los Angeles, the new Staples Center, the Hollywood Sign,
the L.A. Zoo, and much more.

Candy Cane Lane Holiday Lights -- Woodland Hills (Lubao

An eight square-block area in Woodland Hills is
annually transformed into Candy Cane Lane, with a celebration of

Queen Mary Tree Lighting --
Long Beach (Queen Mary)
Join the Mayor of Long Beach at the Queen Mary's annual tree lighting
ceremony. The program will also feature holiday entertainment, a holiday

Lynwood Candy Cane
Lane Christmas Parade

A community holiday parade. Historically, the Lynwood
Candy Cane Lane Christmas Parade is one of only two night time
Christmas Parades held in Southern California. The parade begins on
Martin Luther King Jr. and Atlantic Boulevard and terminates at
Lynwood City Park. Information:

Harvest
Festival -- Pomona (Fairplex L.A. County Fairgrounds)
Americas oldest & largest touring crafts marketplace. The
Harvest Festival transforms major convention centers into festive marketplaces,
reminiscent of early 19th century villages. The festival features the sights and
smells of the harvest season, with early American décor, costumed exhibitors

Belmont
Shore Christmas Parade

This holiday parade, attracting more than 45,000
spectators, features more than 100 entries, including bands, homemade

Montrose Christmas Parade

This popular parade features marching bands,
school drill teams, government dignitaries, TV personalities, and a
Santa Claus flyover in a helicopter. The parade’s big finale features

“Festival Navideño" Christmas
Annual Street Fair -- Los Angeles
(Lincoln Heights, Broadway & Daly St)
Families from Mexico, Caribbean, Central and South America
(21 Latin American countries) celebrate the Christmas holidays at this
free weekend festival. Children receive 10,000 free toys. Enjoy arts and
crafts, traditional foods and beverages, services and products, carnival rides and
games, and booth presentations of community services and products.

Downey Holiday Lane Parade --
Downey
A high-profile Grand Marshal leads marching bands,
drill teams, equestrians, novelty acts, cartoon characters and
spectacular floats. Miss Downey, surrounded by members of her court,
sails down the street on one of the floats.

Initiated more than 100 years ago, this

Rancho Los Cerritos Christmas Open House -- Long Beach (4600
Virginia Road)
Rancho Los Cerritos invites friends and neighbors to a free
and festive afternoon where it will showcase the decorated adobe and
guests can take self-guided tours through the house. Santa Claus will
surely visit, and free refreshments, storytelling, and live music will
be provided throughout the afternoon. Children have opportunity

Las Posadas --
Los Angeles (Olvera
Street)
This traditional
Mexican festival and procession down Olvera Street is a beautiful
reenactment of the nine day journey of Mary and Joseph's journey to
Bethlehem. It is depicted each evening with singing and a
